Our History

More Than 50 Years at the Same Address

L & M Dry Cleaners first opened in North Palm Beach in 1972, and the shop has not moved since. The address, the ownership model, and the quality standards have all stayed in place while everything around them changed.

Owner-operated means the owner is in the shop, not removed from it. Every garment that comes in is the owner's responsibility. That is a different kind of accountability than what you get from a chain or franchise, and customers feel it.

Today the shop handles six garment care types: dry cleaning, wash and fold laundry, alterations through an in-house seamstress, leather cleaning, linen care, and rug cleaning. Free pickup and delivery extends the service across 20+ Palm Beach County communities.

The drive-through window was designed for customers who regularly bring in larger loads or simply find the extra step of parking and walking in inconvenient. It is a small feature that has become a defining one for regular customers.
